MaiLele – Team

DeevaByTanvi is committed to the mission of helping students from MaiLele school. However such initiative can be undertaken only when you have many helping hands and we are grateful for the partnership of this team who are highly passionate members of the community and each one graciously involved with MaiLele for 30+ years thus collectively bringing 200 years of experience to the partnership.

Mr. Kaustubh Mehta – Mr. Mehta has been an engineer from College of Engineering, Pune and a highly successful and distinguished Industrialist from Nashik. He proudly participates and supports many charitable initiatives and has been associated with MaiLele school and the Trust for 30+ years. He has been a strong bridge between DeevaByTanvi and MaiLele School and has graciously agreed to help oversee this long term initiative. With his direct involvement and partnership from highly passionate team with an impressive track record, he is very confident that every penny we collect will be used directly impacting the students.

Mr. Santosh Patil – After 25 years of service as a special education teacher at the MaiLele school, Mr. Patil has been serving as the Principal for the past three years. To prepare the hard of hearing students to lead healthy and independent life in the society, his 3 prong strategy includes the language development for students, overall development for students, and last but not least, rehabilitation. He is also focused on ensuring that the students are given better quality hearing aids, so they can hear, talk and converse, and lead a meaningful life in society!

Mr. Santosh Patil – After 25 years of service as a special education teacher at the MaiLele school, Mr. Patil has been serving as the Principal for the past three years. Mrs. Sanjana Kajawe – Mrs. Kajawe has been working as a Special educator at MaiLele school since 1996 and prior to that, she worked at Rochiram Thadhani School for deaf, Mumbai for 2 years. She is also a nature lover, dog lover and a passionate birder and has been birding in and around Nashik area since last 8 years. She also takes an interest in the urban backyard birding and has been using this special side of hers to develop the love for nature and birds in her students. She is excited about the DeevaByTanvi cause and looking forward to the partnership.

Mrs. Archana Kothawade – Mrs Kothawade has been serving as a special educator at MaiLele school since 1998. Her responsibilities also include working closely with the audiologists so the deaf and hard of hearing students are fit with the right hearing aids and they are serviced appropriately and periodically.

Mrs. Anita Nikam – B.Sc, B.Ed (Hearing Impaired), DSM (Diploma in School Management ), International Sign Language (ISL) certified. Mrs. Nikam has been working as a special teacher at MaiLele school since 1996. She has been serving as the Head of school center for Maths and English exams conducted by Tilak Maharashtra University, Pune and the Group Leader for the initiatives run by the Rotary club of Nashik West. Her other responsibilities include Government filings such as SARAL Student Information, UDISE management information systems and School Siddhi Information. She is also highly active on the front of collecting donations for school, school Trust to be able to help underserved students.

Mrs. Sunanda Sor (Gethe) – Mrs. Sor has been working at Mai Lele School as a special teacher since 2008. In the school, she works with closely with deaf and heard of hearing students to improve their auditory and language skills. She is also engaged in curriculum activities and planning and rehabilitation guidance for the students along with their families. Her main goal is to keep working towards developing the communication and the language skills for these students and help them lead independent life.

Mrs. Anuradha Yelnurkar – Mrs. Yelnurkar has been working as Special Teacher at MaiLele school for last 30 years. Her responsibilities also include working closely with the audiologists so the deaf and hard of hearing students are fit with the right hearing aids and they are serviced appropriately and periodically. She is excited and looking forward to the partnership with DeevabyTanvi.
