DeevaByTanvi is a 501(c)(3) exempt nonprofit organization per IRS rules and is registered as such with Tax ID # 93-4232957.

How will funds be collected and transferred from DeevaByTanvi to MaiLele?

• DeevaByTanvi plans on raising donations as an ongoing activity. The primary goal of raising donations is to help MaiLele students purchase hearing aids so they can continue with their education.
• MaiLele school will provide student details requiring hearing aids and approximate cost of hearing aids based on student’s hearing evaluations. The information will be published on DeevaByTanvi website and donations collected will be tracked against the student and shared on the site.
• When DeevaByTanvi has collected donations to be able to help 3 or more students at any given time, it will ask MaiLele school to provide with recent hearing evaluations and the exact amount required to purchase hearing aids for each of the students under consideration.
• After receiving the final estimate, DeevaByTanvi will release the funds to “Maharashtra Samaj Seva Sangh”, a Trust under which MaiLele school operates in Nashik, India. Also note the FCRA details of the Trust mentioned below. If the final estimate is more, one of the students may need to be waitlisted again. If the final estimate is less, funds will be used for the next student.
• MaiLele school will provide purchase receipts to DeevaByTanvi after hearing aids are acquired and students are fitted with the same.
• DeevaByTanvi will track the student as “Empowered” and continue the process to help empower more students.
• DeevaByTanvi being a nonprofit registered under USA will strictly follow regulations given by IRS and will ensure that the funds collected will be used strictly for the purpose intended driven by DeevaByTanvi mission.
